Code Hypothesis Hackathon Has Started – Here’s How It Works
Hello,
Welcome to Code Hypothesis, part of the Grand Indian Hackathon Season. The hackathon has officially started.
This is not a typical startup pitch event. Code Hypothesis is about testing wild ideas. You begin with a hypothesis – a strange theory or question. For example:
-
Can a dating app work without pictures?
-
Can news spread online without outrage?
Your job is to test that hypothesis. Build something – an app, a website, a no-code prototype, or even a hacked-together demo – that puts your idea to the test.
When you submit, your write-up should include:
-
Your hypothesis (the question you wanted to test).
-
How you tried to test it.
-
What worked and what didn’t.
-
The final outcome (proved, disproved, or somewhere in between).
You don’t have to be perfect. What matters is that you tried to prove a point.
Submit your project on Devpost with:
-
A link to your build (GitHub or no-code prototype).
-
Your short write-up.
-
(Optional) A two-minute demo video.
The hackathon runs for 24 hours, ending on September 28 at 11:59 PM IST.
Good luck, and remember: this is about testing ideas, not pitching them.
